I assumed the image/patch would be displayed on the LCD but, instead, the LCD is reserved for tuner and bypass functions. The control labels are too small to read while on the floor but no biggie once you memorize the layout. Will it help you get back your acoustic mojo?įresh out of the box, my first impression was that this is a well made and handsome device: heavy duty metal case, nonslip feet, smooth turning dials, sturdy foot-switches and simple control layout. This is the very environment the Aura Spectrum D.I. So we drag in our wee amps or play through terrible house systems. Too bad no coffeehouse owns such a system. ![]() Yes, a high end mic jacked into a state of the art audio system will hurl your listeners into tonal nirvana. The problem with amplification is it tends to eat that beautiful acoustic tone you worked so hard to perfect. After all, even a mellow coffeehouse audience will bury a finger picked acoustic guitar with conversation. If you're a gigging classical guitarist, you have to deal with amplifying your sound.
